UNUSUAL EDWARDIAN SATINWOOD BEDSIDE CABINET that has been polished with side flaps each side has a single opening door with a carved panel to the top and a brass handle with one shelf inside which used to hold the chamber pot which is why there are holes in the back of the cabinet to let the smell out from a full chamber pot The top of the cabinet has a carved frieze The flaps are both held up by wooden hinges that fold out .The door closed and when the brass handle is turns keeps the door firmly shut . This cabinet is in very good condition no splits or damage bits stands 33 inch tall 17 1/4 inch wide with flaps down 28 inch wide with flaps open 13 1/2 inch deep .
