Description
SIX Victorian balloon back dining chairs made up of 2 chairs with turned reeded legs and 4 with cabriole legs all been reupholstered in the same red material. A set of six chairs was very hard to find at one time so mixing them was a common occurrence this is called a marriage The chairs are in good condition for age circa 1880 over 140 years old seats are firm and joints on the chairs are tight. At first glance the mixing of the chairs is quite hard to spot the back rails are slightly different but the overall shape of the chairs is the same
