Stunning pair of French Art Deco era bookends c1930. The bases are mounted with gilt bronzed spelter models of Alsatian/German Shepherd dogs in excellent condition consistent with the 1930s period. The bases are a veined marble and are in very good condition, The height to the top of dogs ears is 5 inch the base measures 4 1/2 inch long by 2 3/4 inch wide and 3/4 inch deep
