A French blacksmith holding a large hammer resting on a anvil in his left hand his right arm is fully extended holding a lamp with a period glass flame lampshade which has a few nibbles around the rim a stunning lamp of large proportion in working order but should be checked by a electrician before using stands 41 inch tall 9 1/2 inch wide. A fantastic piece for any room very impressive This would have been bronzed to look like a original bronze but has been painted in gold at a latter date
